ERA biopsy

Has anyone done an ERA biopsy with IVIgen? My doctor recommended we give this a try. I am going to be on FET meds for the biopsy cycle but for the actual transfer I will be doing a fresh cycle with all different medications. For both of these I will be using progesterone oil (PIO). Does it matter that all my meds will be different? Since the PIO will be the same I think I should be okay but this is all new to me. Doctor isn't very helpful providing insight. Thanks in advance!

Haven't done but I think I might be a good candidate, and I'm really interested in it. Please keep us updated with what you learn!

How did this end up going OP? I'm having the biopsy next week.

I just had mine last week. Should have results hopefully early next week. I hope the test comes back saying we haven't been transfering on the right day but that would mean another biopsy to confirm correct day. In getting anxious to do my FET but I know this test is important for me.

Good luck! I will be sure to check back in with my results.

This is OP again. Also, I learned the results will only work with an FET so going forward that is all I will be doing.

Thanks for checking back in OP! I'm the PP doing the ERA also. I'm afraid I'm going to be the 1% who don't have a receptive window!

OP here. Honestly I am afraid of that too! I'm trying to stay positive. Try to make note of what time you start PIO your first day. They asked me this after they took the biopsy and I could only remember a time range. I'm sure a specific time would be even better.

Would you be willing to share what this test costs? Thanks!

I believe it's around $950? I forget the exact number. IVIGen doesn't charge until they are ready to test the results so my charge should go through any day. --OP

I did my first ERA biopsy on day 6 (P+5). The result was non-receptive pre-receptive and the recommendation was to do the second biopsy on day 7 (P+6). I decided with my doctor to do the second biopsy on day 8 (P+7) because the simple histological dating biopsies I had done indicated that day 7 might not be enough and I really didn't want to do another biopsy just to get another pre-receptive result. My second biopsy (P+7) came back as receptive, but our two single embryo transfers at P+7 with a 4AA blast (perfect morphology) each time didn't work. We are still trying to figure out where to go from here. I'm tempted to try an ERA biopsy on a natural ovulation cycle to see if my body might respond better.

Please do keep us update on your ERA results and cycle results post-ERA biopsy recommendations.

I'm sorry you haven't had success PP. how many transfers have you done? Does your RE have any other ideas?
