ERA biopsy

Got my results. I am pre-receptive and need to add 1 more day of progesterone.

Now I need to decide do I do another biopsy to confirm 1 day does the trick or do I go ahead with this knowledge and hope the extra day is correct? I am pretty torn. My RE suggests another biopsy just so we have all the facts and we never go back and question "what if" if the FET is BFN. I am tempted to do the FET because I am so anxious to get started but I know deep down it makes sense to do another ERA biopsy.

What would you all do?!

thanks for checking back in! How do you feel about the result?? Back to your question- I just asked my RE this question today! He said if I come back pre receptive he wants me to do the biopsy again. Even though I'm eager to do another FET ASAP I think in the long run it makes more sense to repeat it.

I think my results make sense. I know when I ovulate on my own I have a luteal phase defect so I think my body needs extra progesterone. I'm relieved the results didn't just say not receptive. Thanks for talking sense into me, I will do another biopsy.

Have you seen this article? It's from the UK but gives me hope!

When will you get your results? Please check back in with them!

I'm going for my biopsy today. I'm pretty sure I'll come back receptive, I got pregnant on a day 5 transfer a year ago but miscarried at 11 weeks. Since then I've done 3 transfers with pgs normal embryos and nothing has worked. I just had a hysterscopy and my uterine lining was completely inflamed so my RE scrapped it out. Hopefully that fixed the problem but he wanted me to do this test just in case. I think I'm his first patient to do it.

OP here. That's great you did the Hysteroscopy. I have also done 2 pgs transfers but both resulted in chemical pregnancies. I am also my RE's first patient to do the ERA. Hoping this works for both of us!

Did you get your results yet?!

No, it's taking forever! My nurse called Ivigen and they said Tuesday. I'll let you know when I find out!

Would the OP and PP mind sharing who their doctors are? I'm interested in having this done.

Still no results for me yet! Now ivigen says by Friday. OP when is your next biopsy? Are you Emily from the other thread?

OP here! Yes I am Emily from the other thread. My next biopsy is Monday. If results come back as receptive I should be doing my FET in July. That's so annoying your results aren't ready yet....fingers crossed they surprise you tomorrow.

Wow your biopsy is soon! That's exciting. I think we have a lot in common, I'm 30 also and my next transfer will be number 6. We are too young for this

We really do (unfortunetly) have a lot in common! Hoping this ERA biopsy is the answer for both of us.
