Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania? He introduced Trump to Jeffrey Clark and is intimately involved in at least the January 6-related investigation of DOJ and probably the fake electors section of it, too. If you’re implying that he sent out a dumb tweet about the Attorney General and immediately the feds grabbed the phone of a sitting Congressman as a result without proper procedures that would have taken weeks if not months, you can show yourself out.

Not a tweet. Filed articles of impeachment against the head of the DOJ, who then turned the FBI on him. I'm sure proper procedures were followed, just like with the FISAs.

My favorite like today was the press secretary stating "Biden found out about the raid at the same time the American people did". Where have we heard that before? Hmm

Again, please leave. There is no possible way you could get a search warrant written, sworn to, filed and approved and that short an amount of time.

It's more likely they found something in those boxes they just seized at Mar-a-Lago that gave them probable cause to seize Perry's phone.

This is hysterical.
If the raid on Maralogo was about classified records, why would they find something to cause them to seize Perry's phone?

We need to stop talking about Perry’s phone here, it has nothing to do with this. It has to do with Jeffrey Clark and John Eastman and the plot to overturn the election.

GOP criminal activity is like a DnD die with no limit to the number of sides.

No. Him? Trump? Nah. I don’t believe it. That guy is always 100% on the up and up. He would never deliberately mislead someone about something. Certainly not to protect himself. He’s just not that way.

That is incredible. I've never heard of such a fast briefing schedule. They aren't going to let him drag this out with endless appeals this time.

This panel includes zero Federalist Society judges.

There should be zero Federalist Society judges anywhere. They’ve shown that their fealty lies elsewhere.

Is it bad when 4 federal judges agree that you used your attorney in the commission of a federal crime?

It sure as heck can't be good. At least for Trump.

Wow. The prosecutors had to write a 6455 word doc overnight to meet the 6am deadline, according to the NYT: "Setting an unusually aggressive schedule, the appeals court ordered the government to respond to Mr. Trump’s request for a stay by 6 a.m. on Wednesday. Prosecutors complied, filing a 6,455-word submission before dawn."
