| I'm applying to a management position in a unit parelle to mine (but obviously different). From my previous interaction with them, I know there's some problem with that unit (e.g. not great relationship with their client, not very friendly competition among the team members, etc.) but I sure don't know details or whether or not I'm right with my impression. If given a detail opportunity (typically 120 days), what would you do to know the team and their situation better and take actions to improve things? I'm thinking that I would definitely try to have one on one face time with each of the team members and would interview some of the clients. Is there anything else that would help? What would you do? |
