How is there not a thread about that lunatic dad who screamed at the Loudon school board?

Better than storming the Capitol and killing police officers.

Someone should see where this guy was that day.

What is the over/under that this dude already has a domestic violence charge?

Hahaha, no.....Are emotions forbidden? He yelled, woop dee doo.

The point is, because he lost his temper and yelled, not one person on that board will take him seriously. They'll just discredit him as a wacko.

They wouldn’t have listened either way. They are indifferent callous individuals. At least maybe he feels a little better now after blowing off some steam.

Maybe if he had made an attempt to be rational and had a legit argument, but no.....

Maybe you should actually watch some of the meetings. People have calmly had “rational and legit” arguments every meeting since summer. Didn’t do a damn bit of good.

Maybe their arguments weren’t as solid or persuasive as they thought.

They were. No one cared or even listened.

In your opinion.

Are you the “Wuhan lab” PP?

Where do you believe it originated? Oh, the old bat to human via pangolin theory, yes! Coincidentally, right in the same city as the high security lab. Makes perfect sense!

I am no conspiracy theorist, but I thought it's a well-accepted theory that the virus accidentally "escaped" from a research lab. These types of viruses are being studied in treatments of cancer, aids, etc.

Lol. No. It is not well-accepted theory that the virus escaped from a lab. That’s like saying it’s well accepted that congressional leaders are running a massive pedophile ring.

Yeah wow no. It’s very much 100% from the wet market

He was irate. The board now knows that people are at the end of their rope. He also said that speaker after speaker would address the board, and they didn't even bother looking at the speakers. They were terribly dismissive. I've seen this before in FCPS. I attended many SB meetings as an employee. It is disrespectful of the board.

I am glad he lost it with them. These people are elected. They are supposed to represent the residents of Loudoun. This board has been in place for a year. They have 3 years left on their term. If they don't start at least LISTENING to their constituents, they'll be gone.

Hell. I hope he runs for a school board position. I'm betting he would win in a landslide.

Well said - this may be a dumb question, but can the county dismiss the SB before the end of their term?

Not a dumb question. They can be recalled.

The dad looks like a world class a$$hole. He is not helping his cause at all.

What is your problem? A little upsetting to watch this? All about how things look. Ridiculous. He is distressed. He is expressing emotions. It is ok.

He’s a raging a-hole. It’s not ok.

Different strokes. I think it is more than okay. Because as said upthread, SBs across the districts have been incredibly dismissive of parent contributions. In some cases, almost to the point of pretending like they didn't happen.

What an incredibly disingenuous observation. No wonder why this guy needed to yell. You guys won't pull your heads out of the sand.

How will we ever really know? We are being blatantly lied to. We must ensure this never happens again.

Please. They studies the virus for years, published a number of papers on it, including one in the Nature. It takes one scientist to get sick from accidental mishandling the materials to start the pandemic. Remember when they found smallpox vials in NIH? Shit happens.

Actually, this is not likely.

More likely that it came from a lab.

Based on the praises the lunatic dad gets, we are expected to yell and stomp our feet. That's how.

We need to treat China as a pariah, that’s how. If the WHO can’t conduct an open and transparent investigation, we should seriously reconsider our future relationship with China.

OK. So 100% wackadoodle. Got it.

This all makes sense now.

We can't. Our economy is dependent on them.

What were these solid and persuasive arguments? Anything conspiracy theories involved?
