How is there not a thread about that lunatic dad who screamed at the Loudon school board?

Better than storming the Capitol and killing police officers.

Someone should see where this guy was that day.

What is the over/under that this dude already has a domestic violence charge?

Hahaha, no.....Are emotions forbidden? He yelled, woop dee doo.

The point is, because he lost his temper and yelled, not one person on that board will take him seriously. They'll just discredit him as a wacko.

They wouldn’t have listened either way. They are indifferent callous individuals. At least maybe he feels a little better now after blowing off some steam.

Maybe if he had made an attempt to be rational and had a legit argument, but no.....

Maybe you should actually watch some of the meetings. People have calmly had “rational and legit” arguments every meeting since summer. Didn’t do a damn bit of good.

Maybe their arguments weren’t as solid or persuasive as they thought.

They were. No one cared or even listened.

In your opinion.

Are you the “Wuhan lab” PP?

He just said Loudoun County has already had FIVE suicides between students and teachers... Has anyone heard about this???

I saw an interview with this man. He is very reasonable, articulate, and intelligent.

He was irate. The board now knows that people are at the end of their rope. He also said that speaker after speaker would address the board, and they didn't even bother looking at the speakers. They were terribly dismissive. I've seen this before in FCPS. I attended many SB meetings as an employee. It is disrespectful of the board.

I am glad he lost it with them. These people are elected. They are supposed to represent the residents of Loudoun. This board has been in place for a year. They have 3 years left on their term. If they don't start at least LISTENING to their constituents, they'll be gone.

Hell. I hope he runs for a school board position. I'm betting he would win in a landslide.

Well at least I watched the meetings. Clearly you have not. You probably don’t even live in Loudoun.

Uh I doubt the school board is hating this. I’m no fan and yet he managed to look worse. Their silence makes them look much more mature and rational.

Disagree. They looked awful. He did not look bad at all. He schooled them.

Is this how you and and him prefer your kids to be "schooled" too?

You don't need an educational system to do it. Just teacher kids to yell on top of their lungs to bring their point across.

Oh heavens, we must shield the children from any negative emotions! It’s all sunshine and rainbows and that’s what I am teaching my kids. Negative emotions, and especially any yelling, must always always be suppressed. Just fake it till you make it!

You have no idea what you are talking about. The dude had to learn to manage his anger.

Yes, I don't want be the target of some random idiot's' raging. You want him to yell at you, let him know. Just keep in mind, he might decide to hit you next so he does not have to suppress his anger.

I’ll just hit em right back where it counts, cause that’s how I roll.

Alternatively, you may be the target of his road rage next time you are out.

Who cares?! Stay on topic. He was fine and on point. I’m not easily offended or intimidated by people or viruses.

The topic was him being a lunatic. He is. His comparison of the trash collectors' and teacher's working conditions shows that his in-person-school attendance was a waste of time. Looks like the f2f school did nothing for your education either, btw.

Well, maybe it takes being a lunatic to make a change. Do you lack any emotion ever, have you never lost your cool? It’s an arbitrary comparison, you may compare public school teachers to private school teachers, daycare employees, public school teachers in Florida or Texas, healthcare and all hospital employees, janitors, gymnastics instructors, music teachers, in person tutors, cashiers, delivery people, hair dressers, bus drivers, uber drivers.... You choose. All of them are more admirable than the teachers and school board that we are dealing with here.

Do we really want more lunatics making changes or rather do we want lunatics to continue making changes? I am fed up with those.

The dad looks like a world class a$$hole. He is not helping his cause at all.

What is your problem? A little upsetting to watch this? All about how things look. Ridiculous. He is distressed. He is expressing emotions. It is ok.

Where do you believe it originated? Oh, the old bat to human via pangolin theory, yes! Coincidentally, right in the same city as the high security lab. Makes perfect sense!

Well said - this may be a dumb question, but can the county dismiss the SB before the end of their term?

That is certainly the information that is circulating, but since no one wants to discuss it, it’s not like there is proof.
