| Who are you people? Once we all have Medicare for All you will look back and wonder why you raised such a ruckus. |
You made your choice. You voted for Trump. And despite having the Presidency and majorities in both chambers of Congress, the R's didn't repeal the ACA. The Rs know you are going to vote for them no matter what so they have no motivation to fix healthcare costs. The more expensive healthcare gets the more you blame the Democrats, despite the fact that Trump himself has acknowledged that healthcare is a really complicated issue. So you have two choices. Buy health insurance or not. |
Who are you trying to convince, me or yourself? |
I already have insurance, like most other families. You're the whiner. You'd love to abolish everyone's existing plans in order to build who knows what exactly. As OP says, you won't have my vote. |
If you aren't a whiner then complaining that your health care is so expensive. |
Because $$$$$. |
Yes, I know.. I'm saying what "legitimate" reasons do they use to not be able to regulate costs. What excuse do they use? |
+1 Who are you people? Once we all have Medicare for all, free immigration for all, free college for all, no debt for all, free childcare for all, affordable housing for all, and universal income for all, you will look back and wonder why you raised suck a ruckus. |
Venezuela. |
and/or people will realize why should I be responsible Why should I try and live within my means. Why should I try and be healthy and shop around for healthcare, wait to have kids, save for college and encourage my kids to go to an affordable college and pick a major that has an actual decent wage career path Screw it give me the free stuff too Do people not get the moral hazard with all these d policies. definition lack of incentive to guard against risk where one is protected from its consequences, e.g. by insurance (or by "free" government programs). |
| We’re you at the Village you are just spouting Trumpian rhetoric from his old age peeps speech in Florida. Medicare for all 2020. |
Actually, Venezuelans are escaping such nightmare. Millions of them. Because it sounds like Heaven...but it quickly becomes Hell. |
Wait until you hear more detail about the free college for all stuff, retroactively. |
| I’m fine with it. My company does it automatically now when you hit 65 and offers a raise and supplemental policy. Everyone is happy with it. |
So, back to OP's question, would you vote for a candidate promising to abolish private health insurance, supposedly in exchange for something better and cheaper? |
