| How can there be two different stories if they have video? |
Because lawyers. What any lawyer is saying right now is probably not the truth/fact. |
There probably isn’t audio so they are interpreting what they can see in their client’s favor. Hard to imagine that the push looked more horrific than three people being gunned down. If the cop had sustained a bad concussion, they wouldn’t have released him and said he only had minor injuries. |
|
The cop doesn’t have to have lasting injuries.
They just have to prove the attack affected his thinking in the moment. |
| It will be interesting to see if the cop had incidents of aggressive behavior or difficulty managing his anger in the past. |
Affected his thinking enough to use deadly force on three civilians? Is he going to plea temporary insanity? |
| Aren’t police officers supposed to identify themselves and then order people to stop or they will shoot, especially when there is no other weapon present? Rather than identify themselves and then promptly fire off shots? The latter gives one no time to back away it or otherwise de-escalate the situation. |
I’m pretty sure that’s not the standard. |
| I hope one of the parents survive and are able to give their side of the story. |
I also don't think cops can just go shooting anyone as long as they give the disclaimer "stop or I will shoot" ... |
I think we are know LE has a different standard. |
Diminished capacity. |
| I pray to God that this trigger-happy cowboy isn't still running around with a gun. |
| Brown people killed by cops nothing new |
| Nor any evidence of racial animus. |
