LOL. He was your hero last week. Liberals can be so fickle.

Yep, he's not spineless. He is just a man who saw the truth, saw it last week, but gave it one more try with the FBI investigation, and in the end could not be part of the destruction of someone's entire life. Any decent person could see through this farce. Liberals (Democrats, Progressives) or whatever they choose to call themselves next week, will never accept a defeat. Just look at the 2016 election. Never.

I predict Collins is a No and Manchin is a yes. At the end of the day they will vote their own personal self interest, plain and simple. I think it’s over.?

Kavanaugh supporters care to discuss?

He’s a person who fights for what he knows is right. Why is that so hard to understand?

1) Kavanaugh: the person at the hearing is not who I am.

2) Trump: the person at the hearing is exactly who he is and that’s why I nominated him.

3) Discuss

He stated it pretty clearly in his piece.
As a judge, he is even-tempered and unbiased.
As a father and husband who is wrongly accused of heinous acts, he will aggressively defend HIMSELF against such attacks.

Not sure why this is so hard for you to understand.

Democrats don’t understand because Chuck Schumer said he will stop Kavanaugh no matter what . And other cruel, vicious Democrats don’t care father , husband or son .

Maybe for some. I am on the DCUM record last week with the quote “Flake will fold like a lawn chair.”

He wanted the cover of the fbi investigation to make it look like he has been carefully weighting the issues at hand, and now that he has it he can vote as he always planned.

This. He was no hero and I know that neither I, nor any of my liberal family/friends, thought he was.

A SCOTUS should *never* lie under oath. The truly sad part about this is that if he had not lied about his drinking (which we all would have chalked up to as typical highschool/college behavior), we would be more likely to believe him about the Ford assault claims.

2) BK was clearly partisan when it mattered. Before the SJC, televised before the nation, he made clearly biased claims about the Democratic Party and the Clintons.

1. No he didn’t.
2. No he wasn’t.

I think it is crazy that these insane allegations were thrown at him and you expect him to respond in a calm manner.
I also think it is telling that your arguments for not confirming him have moved throughout this confirmation. A sign that you are prepared to throw anything at him to derail the nomination.

Gee, who has had endless crap thrown at her and taken it FOR HOURS at a time without cracking?

Hillary can take it. He is getting a taste of his own bitter medicine. It was so laughable he blamed the Clintons. Kavanaugh can dish it out but he can't take it.

+1. Right-wing accused Hillary of murder, and she managed to keep her cool.

This, again. 11 hours of testimony (and countless months of investigations and accused of murder) and cool as a cuke. But, god forbid a man seeking a LIFETIME appointment and for whom there is PLENTY of evidence to suggest he made untrue statements, be expected to do the same. You people are effing pathetic.

Manchin is a yes. He gains zero by following the lead of Collins.

It comes down to Collins and Flake. You need both to sink Kav. Not very likely at this point.

I hope she can successfully encourage Flake and Collins to think long and hard about voting for this slimeball.

Flake already announced he is "YES"... I guess we all knew he had no spine when it actually comes to vote against GOP. It boils down to Collins. Manchin will vote the way Collins does.

I just can't get over how weak Kavanaugh is.
