Reading all this nonsense makes me happy to know your kids are all going to get curb-stomped by any average team from Texas, Florida or California.

You’re happy thinking of kids getting curb-stomped. Might I suggest therapy?

You think we’d be better off if all of NoVa was consolidated under one club so the top team would be competitive nationally?

I think we’re better off having more choices to find the right fit for our DC. The TX/CA model might be better for the very top team, but less so for everyone else.

Only a low quality individual would equate wining a soccer game with curb stomping.

What if kid’s soccer is the only hope they have in life? The only thing they can breathe through. That must be sad indeed.

And yet there are so many clubs in TX or CA (as noted above, also PA, NY and NJ) that can walk past NoVa clubs in their sleep.

If “kids get curb-stomped” is too violent of a metaphor for some people, my apologies. Can I substitute “I love knowing that you’re going to have to sit there and watch as other regions of the country demonstrate that all the sniping between VDA and FVU and SYC and ABC and CBS and SVU means about as much as the War of the Five Kings on Game of Thrones when the White Walkers were getting ready to wipe out all of Westeros?”

Very odd that girls who are committed would leave Arlington, NVA and similar clubs to drive all the way to VDA for no reason. Like it or not VDA is attracting the most talent right now. And if your daughter is good enough she will tryout there and leave her club if she gets an offer.

Plenty of “good enough” players don’t go to VDA for any number of reasons. One reason maybe is that it is really far away.
No no … only a few. And they know who they are. Your DD would be at VDA if given the opportunity and the roster space to play existed. Its only far away for those in MD and even with that girls from MD make the trek.

ARL and Union are losing to VDA big time. They will feel it big time next year they dont do any development internally and with added leagues no where to pull from

ARL will be just fine. Union will have 1 age group that competes - thats about it for them.
+1 LoL the show goes on. Losing big time sounds hilarious. A few players change. A few players come down from the comforts of a good team to a meh team. Will meshing even more players work out the second time around? Who knows. Charlotte and Richmond will test this theory. Cant speak for Arlington but from what I hear from the families they will be fine.

Which of the Arlington teams got better for next year?

Which Union teams got better? Asking for a friend.

in all fairness Vda handled business this weekend. Arl got it together but it sounds like someone was missing. RU is the one 2 watch imo. Not a lot of changes.Solid team.
