Being "close to" a base is no excuse for bombing a school. No one would be saying "oh that's ok, it's understandable they killed my kid" if their kid was killed because they attended one of the 150 DoED schools co-located on a military base.

Is it a good strategy to bomb and kill the daughters of military officers? How much more will they hate us now? And can we blame them? Doesn’t this make anyone who is pro attacking wonder if we really are the good guys? And it’s the morally right thing to do at this point is to admit responsibility and apologize? Or even say we are unsure f whose fault it is but we are truly sorry for killing the daughters of your military officers???

The pedo epstein class has a long history which bombs schools and hospitals while Iran targets focus mainly on military and economic infrastructure. I’ll just leave it at that

This school was struck on the first day of bombing. It was actually struck in the first hour or 2.

The bombing of Iran started around 9 am local time on feb. 28. This time would have been after kids had already gotten to school.

This school was struck around 10am or 10:30am.

Although Iranians were expecting strikes, it was thought that they would start over night, like last year. The war was not expected to start in the morning hours.

These parents sent their kids off not knowing the war would start in just a couple of hours. So pease don’t put any fault on those poor parents.

That said, the IRGC base in Minab was indeed and undeniably a high priority military target, serving key naval functions, serving as a missile base, and key logistics coordination point. It supported Fast-Attack Craft operations, a key component to Iran's strategies for controlling the Strait of Hormuz, and other functions. Independent OSINT confirmed numerous direct hits on various base facilities which shows it was in fact the main target, not the school. It can also be seen in aerial imagery that the school was not even 150 feet from the current base footprint and that it was built in very similar style and construction to the other buildings on the base - because it not long ago was part of the base. Far too close for safety. In a wartime footing, the children should have been evacuated to a safer location. Yes, the US has schools for soldiers' kids on military bases, but there are clear protocols and guidance, in the event of a war threat, evacuation of the kids to a shelter, hardened location etc is one of the installation's top priorities. The US put that protocol into action in Iraq numerous times, in Turkey in 2016, in Japan during Fukushima etc. The IRGC on the other hand had no evident plan or protocol for the safety of kids.

Your analogy of the US evacuating bases with schools when wars occur in foreign countries is not valid. Where do you expect Iran to evacuate its children to when the country is under attack? It's not like the US flying a few kids and embassy staff out of the Middle East back to the safety of America.

This bombing happened on day TWO of the US strikes on Iran. It wasn't an expected conflict, and it's not like Iran had much time to adapt and evacuate kids out of the city.

You are correct - my mistake. It was indeed the first day of bombing. However, the strike on the base was the target - NOT the girls' school. That was an unintentional and tragic mistake.

Being "close to" a base is no excuse for bombing a school. No one would be saying "oh that's ok, it's understandable they killed my kid" if their kid was killed because they attended one of the 150 DoED schools co-located on a military base.

If it was the second day of bombing, you'd better believe American parents wouldn't be sending their kids to school anywhere, much less to a school co-located on a military base. But do keep repeating yourself over and over and over...

No one expected the US military to bomb elementary schools. And, they wouldn't have, but for Hegseth and Trump and their derangement over the "queering of the military" or whatever the F else imaginary grievance du jour that makes them think they need to tear up longstanding rules of engagement, ignore Geneva Conventions, upend JAG corps etc.

So that's one f'ed up thing going on. And it's new. But we Americans hope to throw those m-f-ers out and put them on trial. Wish Iran could say the same.

But it's pretty much a given for Russia to do that to Ukrainian schools. Along with Iran and Hezbollah etc. They've bombed schools, hospitals and civilian targets with impunity. And without accountability to the international community, what's the point of even expecting accountability? We can't have a UN Security Council that gives their buddies a pass for war crimes, whether it's Israel, or whether it's Iran, Russia, China or anyone else - even the US. Currently those institutions have shown themselves to be impotent, pointless and useless. And it sucks.

None of it's justifiable or excusable, nobody should get a pass - even those who think they deserve some kind of morality pass because they hate the US and Israel. And, along with it, the bad-faith "negotiations" that are straight up delusional. It's the perfect set-up to lead nations into wars. Our whole global community system is broken.

Why wouldn't you expect the US military to attack a school? The were reported strikes in schools in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, and Yemen. Why should Iran be any exception
