Then why did you post that you didn’t want to be “scrambling in the morning?” That indicates that you are not confident that school will closed (despite EVERY weather report saying we’re getting a lot of snow). Are you really just sitting at home stressing out until you get an email from FCPS? What is getting in the way of you figuring out that school is not happening tomorrow? |
We had to deal with them for 2 weeks this is March 2020 all over again. |

Nope. January 2022 we closed for a week. Although a large part of it might have been the huge number of people Out due to Covid and it’s required absence policy. |
DCPS just closed. We will be soon. |
We were taking about the 1990s I graduate high school 2002. We didn’t many snow days, when we were out we had to make them up. I lost count on how many days my daughter missed because of snow days. |
Class of ‘96 here. Who remembers when they added 30 minutes to the day after spring break to make up for the week we missed?? |
Snowmageddon of February 2010 called and would like a word about your false statement. |
The current forecast doesn’t justify a full week (Monday and Tuesday, likely delay Wednesday) and the new leadership has something to prove, so I assume kids will be back to normal Thursday/Friday.
If the storm exceeds any current forecast, maybe the full week. |
Not factual. FCPS closed for a week during covid on the monday after winter break for about 1" of snow. |
|
They called it! No school tomorrow. |
Yippee!! |
When do you think they will call Tuesday? |
FCPS just announced closure. |
