Most prospect camps at the top D1 & Ivies schools at this point are for 27/28.
If you are a 2026 parent DO NOT TAKE
your player to any prospect camp or specific school camp without making sure there is INTEREST. Have your club coach, high school coach or recruiting coordinator make contact with the college coach otherwise you are completely wasting your time, money and mental space. All of these schools have all their target recruits coming the past three weekends and have offers out. My player was at the first weekend official visit with 15 recruits and they were only taking 9 total. We heard last weekend they had 10 there. That is 25 recruits visiting for 9 spots. This school also has a prospect ID camp coming up. So you can see why making sure before you go to a prospect ID camp as a 2026 that there is actual interest; given all the offers already out with their top tier players. Often times there's one group getting a special official visit and then there's another group of recruits on an unofficial visit that isn't part of the tier 1 group so don't just show up at a prospect day cold turkey. Maximize your time, money and hopes by going to the places that have interest and are aware ahead of time that you are coming so you're put in the best group at the camp so you can actually be seen and evaluated.

Exactly....Capital Orange girls will be just fine.

Capital Blue, M&D or Heros (TLC but apparently only at this year) are the only places doing better and those teams were likely not an option for these girls or that is where they would be.

They will be just fine but I agree it is frustrating when you know that some players could easily be interchangeable on Blue and Orange. That is life

Before everyone jumps over that last comment let me add that yes I can read and see that Skywalkers is doing well too.

My point is simply that unless you make Orange and still have time to go get on a Baltimore A team you really don't have another option. So although it can be annoying to be on a B team it is still an amazing opportunity.

The really odd story for ‘26 is Skywalkers. Why are they moving so slowly? It’s one of the most highly regarded clubs in country year over year. Or are they just not listing all the commits here?

And why is TLC being included? Noone ever mentions that club around here.

I noticed the past few years not nearly as much hype around Skywalkers. It used to be the big three M&D, Heros and Skywalkers and lately all I hear about is M&D and Heros. Maybe it is just the years? Maybe 27 is a stronger year?

Skywalker is still a high school powerhouse. It could be just this 26 team. Skywalker 25 was ranked #3 behind Cap Blue ‘25 (#2). Skywalker ‘26 is currently #21, 14 places behind Cap Blue 26 (#7). Skywalker 27 is a couple of spots ahead of Cap Blue 27. Seems like 26 is a down year for Skywalker

TLC is listed for interest because it is a competitive program, geographically speaking. It is wonderful to see where all these players land. This is just the beginning for many players, and we have all year as players pursue D1/D2/ D3 offers into summer 2025. I imagine some may be looking at NESCAC schools... All these players will find their fit as they adjust their expectations, make visits and interact with coaches. There are players that only want to play D3 and not do D1.

I am not PP but this commitment list is elite. When PP stated majority of D1 she likely meant the other 100+ D1 schools
