Yes the true sign of a great private school is if top 2/3 of class gets into T25-35.

Bottom 1/3 should have plenty of great options that include ED to schools like Wake or Tulane, if so inclined….

Did something happen regarding their relationship with UChicago? A few years ago they had so many admits

I don’t think it was a popular choice this year. Not sure why.

Academically speaking, I don't think so, in fact the inverse might be true. If you take math competitions for example, GDS has done lot better than Sidwell.

Sidwell also consistently does better than GDS when it come NMSFs.

Overnight, the posted Ivy count went up to 13 for Sidwell (3 Harvard bound). GDS is still holding on to its lead by its fingernails and a prayer (14). The final numbers will be close this year because I know there’s a Sidwell student waiting to post her Penn admit.

Sidwell toxicity at its best

Sidwell is past 20 Ivy at this point. I am sure GDS and the other schools will report additional numbers in the coming days as well.

My daughter is a junior and we have no idea what the year is shaping up to look like. Only 25% are on the Instagram.

They are being intentionally slow to post so that each person gets time to “shine”. They’re doing great. It’s an amazing class. They are particularly close and happy and kind.
