So you’re not the one who kept insisting it wasn’t assault, it was a fight, and that’s perfectly legal? |
No I said we need to wait for a investigation to determine if it was assault which is a criminal offense or a fight which is legal. |
Yes the police have decided there is probable cause to arrest for assault. Then lawyers get involved and decide if the evidence will stand up in court. Often they plea it down to avoid court or the States Attorney changes the charges due to evidence. Arrest and charge are different. Police arrest, states attorney charge, judges (or jury) convict and set the punishment. Often it never sees a judge. |
So you’re not Loony McLoonypants. Sorry. Where is he? The one who said that it was just a fight, sorry your kid lost, fighting is legal, there was no assault. Think he’ll come back? |
Interesting question… What happens with an adult convicted of an assault? Don’t some return to the work they were doing before the conviction? Some people of course can and should not be able to because of serious ethical violations that relate to their profession. But many, many return. Look at sports, entertainment, politics etc. No, they are on a 10 day suspension now and as I understand it, expulsion proceedings are ongoing. I hope those are expedited. Thanks to the Montgomery County Police for making the arrests. I find it hard to believe only ONE student reported the incident to police. |

I find it hard to believe only ONE student reported the incident to police. The rumor was that the girl who was being beaten was a bcc student misidentified as wj. If she presses charges and goes back to school with Braids McAnkle bracelet's friends she would probably fear for her life. |
Ges bailing his kid out. He'll be back later |

Boom goes the dynamite!
"16-year-old Kharon Crosby of Bethesda, is facing charges as an adult, including armed robbery and second-degree assault. Additionally, two other teenagers, aged 15 and 16, have been charged as juveniles with robbery and second-degree assault offenses. Two 15-year-olds face first-degree-assault charges." |
| Where does the armed part come in? Was there a weapon? Is this the child who took the sneakers? |
As mentioned on the Twitter thread, and earlier parent reports, there was either a gun or a threat of a gun |
Sorry. All the credit goes to the police. I wish they released all names so I could make sure my kids stay far away. |
Come on, pp. You can set your sights higher than this. Those kids should have been sent away to a school equipped to handle them long before the incident. Monifa should not have condescendingly called it a teachable moment and no one should have callednthe ambush of innocent school children a "fight" and tried to imply it had anything to do with a sporting event. |
It’s the same poster. They’re just stupid/lying. |
They charged him with ROBBERY and assault. This was NOT a fight. He had on a ski mask. THIS WAS INTENTIONAL. Are you dumb? Just shut up and admit you were talking out of your backside. |
And we only know that AFTER a police investigation. |
