and why is meatball always wearing those stupid boots? he’s not from texas. he’s from a rich town just by tampa.

trying again:

Not a fan of Casey's choices, but I think this is fine. She's a spouse attending an outdoor vigil in 90 degree weather.

i am the pp and it is a really weird thing to wear. do you see anyone else there wearing an outfit that would be appropriate at a sinatra-themed dinner theater? no, everyone else is wearing (1) clothes for daytime, and (2) sleeves. i don't care if she wants to show off her arms and shoulders - but spaghetti straps are a little... festive... for this occasion.

Those are fettuccini straps at most.

Not appropriate or respectful. Plus he was booed.

It's a full length dress! Come on.

It's tea-length! You come on. You people exaggerate anything and everything. It's probably a midi- or maxi- dress. Perfectly fine. Take a seat.

Anonymous wrote:Normally I’m not into criticizing her fashion but the vigil outfit is really weird. She should have worn pants or a skirt and better coverage on top. It’s not in a church and I know it’s hot but that dress is still too much.

It looks like she’s going Sad Dancing.

+1 This is fun eveningwear. Super strange.

+1. If this was the only time she had worm something that just didn't fit the occasion I would not say anything, but it's not. This occasion called for a navy shift with wedges at most.

That is so oddly specific. This occasion called for sober colors and quiet styling, both of which she aced.

Here she is standing up. It's a maxi dress and she looks lovely.

Agree. Impeccable.

Explain to me how that’s not evening wear.

You must not get out much if you consider a modest dress to be "evening wear."

Um... those aren't spaghetti straps. No one cares but you. She looks appropriate - both for the occasion and the weather.

I think it looks weird. It’s like a sad sun dress? It’s odd.

I defended her before, but now I read this comment and started singing “summertime sadness.”

Ok, now my thoughts get less silly and turn to the sad idea of people being gunned down while simply getting their shopping done.

This thread is so weird. I don't like her husband, but she's beautiful and she dresses nicely. She doesn't have to wear pantsuits if she doesn't want to.

Yeah, seeing her standing up it looks like one of those smocked nap dresses, but in too large a size. Is it both too formal and too casual? All this money spent on private planes, and she can't find anyone to help her buy a normal dress that looks appropriate for the occasion?

At no time has anyone said she should wear a pantsuit.
