A couple should care about each other's happiness but You don't put your spouse's happiness over yours all the time.
If you throw yourself into supporting your spouse 100% while the spouse works, that's great and your choice but know the consequence of that. You might not get the same support when you ask for it and if you ask for it later after kids are in the picture. I think she has had enough. And he needs to step back. But, because he is obsessed with football, he needs to keep doing it. If he stops, he feels his life is taken away because that's all he knows. And yes, you body do get sore and you get tired when you get older but there are alot of risks in football. Maybe coaching is better? |

| I dislike both of them, and yet the idea of them divorcing over this makes me really sad. Was it really worth it to Brady to blow up his marriage and family just for one more year of football? It seems to only reinforce destructive stereotypes (and set a terrible example) that men are irrelevant to family life once they contribute some sperm, and that they should always prioritize their careers above all else. |
