We never had cops in our school and there were fights on a weekly basis. Teachers usually broke up the fight, or if there were too many teachers around, the kids would just fight across the street.
SRO is pretty much a non issue in yuppie areas like Fairfax County. Now if we are talking about the East side of Detroit, maybe there is a need?
