I don't think of Texas and Florida as part of the South.

Texas is midwestern and Florida is Florida.

DP. It's actually really hard to get into. People aren't applying because it's a party school.

LOL. Culturally, East Texas is southern and West Texas is Southwestern. Nothing about Texas is Midwestern.

Except North Carolina also has Davidson and Wake Forest both better than Tulane. And Georgia also has Georgia Tech.
