Your favorite daily high SPF for face

If the tinted sunscreen is still too light ( it is for me) just add a few drops of foundation with the sunscreen and you have a sheer of color+ sunscreen. My derm says he prefers physical blockers vs chemical in sunscreen, and hats all the time outside.

Sigh. I can't stand wearing hats. They smash my curls flat to my head and make me so hot. I will just stick with the best sunscreen I can find.

You can apply makeup over it and your face doesn’t feel heavy. It was recommended by my dermatologist. My MIL used to use Elta and switched because she thought it was so much better.

Do you reapply mid day? I’m hoping to find something I can put on in the morning under my makeup but still be able to go outside around 4:00 pm without exposure. Could you also please put up a link. I looked on Amazon and there was a few different ones. Thank you!

This is a good one but only if you have dry skin and no acne concerns. It's pretty greasy and sent me to the derm for 6 (!!!) cortisone shots to the face for cystic acne. I am prone, but more on the 1-2 shots a year basis and this SS both dried down kind of orange, felt like petroleum jelly, and made my face a mess. I can see it working well for the chronically parched, but otherwise a hard pass. I'm a Japanese Biore poster though which is totally different in formulation so that makes sense.
