85-100 pushup. Depends on the day.

Many people don't have the tricep strength moreso than the chest strength.

I can bench press 2.5x my weight and regularly do other things like dips, incline/decline presses, shoulder presses, and sometimes exercises to isolate tris. Mostly try to focus on compound movements though with heavier weights/less reps.

2.5 bodyweight?!? How much do you weigh? Do you compete?

That's a 200lb man benching 500lbs.

I'm about 210, and my 1RM on the bench is 355, which I always thought was pretty good...

(different PP) When I was at 185 my max bench was 285. Now I'm at 175 and it's 250, so I've slipped a bit. But roughly 1.5x body weight and it's tough to get above that.

I do see guys at my gym who can bench over 400lb. Not sure how much they weigh - probably mid 200s would be my guess.

Right. So at 240, a 2.5bw bench would be 600.

It's probably more like, that the PP weights about 140 and benches around 350 with arch.

And a bench shirt. Arching your back is fine in raw competitions and those are still not normal numbers.

A lot of times the routines I do put pushups at the end of an arm strength training routine as a burnout. I guess they assume you can already do them, which I cannot. Where in an arm workout should I put them?

I have worked my way up to standard pushups by following this guy's instructions! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GsVJsS6474
Since it was a goal of mine, I did my pushups work separate from my regular workout.
