I freakin love this show.

For those who want to see a completely different person than Logan’s wife, the same actress is the mom in Ramy. She’s amazing in that too.

I love the Roman Jerri dynamic. And the Tom and Greg dynamic.

I thought the first twenty minutes were full of short handed convos, needed more dialogue to build up to Logan choosing Jerri

I can see why you think that, but it was clear none of the kids were ready or tough enough to take it on. A woman was good for optics and he knew Jerri was one of the only ones seasoned enough to do it that he trusted. I saw the short convos as confirming what he basically already knew.

Brian Cox was amazing in this episode, as always. I liked Shiv at first, but now find her beyond annoying and entitled.

Same. I hate how they are writing her character. Her dialogue has more "um, ok" and "f@ck" than any other word. Her blow-up at the lawyer's office was the first real dialogue she had in that episode and it feels like it was that way last season as well.
