I know I am going to get slammed but when I was going out (no long as I am happily remarried) with women in their 40s who had never been married, I did not think that after they asked, so why did you get divorced, I did not think it was out of bounds to ask why they had never been married. My rule of thumb was that if a woman started talking about old relationships in the first five minutes of a date, then it was time to head for the exits early.
