Wtf?

Sure, wealthier parents lawyer up and hope the school responds to threats of litigation. From what I’ve seen, the school often calls the family’s bluff. Social media and what the OP calls “snitching” competing students are facts of life in the age of social media. After all is said and done, if there is evidence, the family usually has the losing hand. The colleges often find out one way or another. |
So you are saying my horrific stats teacher who was senile and barely spoke English who had tenure I am to take an F on a course I paid myself for and need to graduate. No way. I should have sued him. Hey I had one young professor he let me do extra help I busted my ass for a C and learned a lot. But an half dead corpse I am not doing it. And I did not cheat SATs but a lot if HS did. Mainly football and sports teams who needed certain score as had pretend academic scholarships that were really athletic scholarships |
In the real world, a "snitch" is sometimes called a whistleblower and is encouraged to come forward for the good of society. I guess no such thing is necessary for high school. No wonder, we have colleges filled with a-holes.

Do people assume it doesn't get even more prolific in college? Or maybe that's just some privates.
Much ado about. . . High schoolers. . . |
Especially not the parent of a cheater |
I wonder - is cheating in college as near-universal as what you hear? |
Dude, if you’re the PP who said they’d cheated 50-100 times from ES through HS then you are really leaning into being a victim to justify a self proclaimed extensive history of cheating. If this isn’t you, then no, I didn’t say anything to you b/c I wasn’t talking to you. |
