| just makes me think of the parents in reston who were murdered by the neo-nazi boyfriend of their daughter |

I think the son will be arrested soon.
This sounds like an inside job murder for hire. Trying to collect insurance and assets. Sounds like a child who is all out of control and angry with his parents, thinks he smart enough to cook up a stupid plot that won't trace back to him. Having successful or high ranking military parents is not a guarantee of success or ease in the military of their children. Military parents have kids with issues too. Not just african american military families. Just speculating on the son's involvment. Sounds too close to the HLN murder stories I watch on the weekends. It take a lot for two people who don't belong or live in a neighborhood to drive in and shoot two people point blank execution then flea. |

What in the world? |
Yes, the one neighbor interviewed said that anytime the police were in the neighborhood, it was always to respond to a situation at that house. Sounds like one of those situations where the kid is in deep but tells mom & dad it's not that big of a deal when people start showing up, demanding things (answers/money/product) from him. Tells them he'll take care of it and not worry. They believe him because he's their son and they see him through rose colored glasses. Then this happens. Something similar happened years ago when I was in my early 20s but not in the DMV area. |
They were confronted with an intruder in their house 2-3 days ago (before the murder). Why didn't they pack up and get a temporary apartment or residence until this was finished? The 9/11 call says they knew the person was after their 19-year-old and obviously familiar with where they lived. |
WTH? You really need to stay off the true crime channels. Your imagination has the best of you. Your whole post is bonkers. |

Actually, I think the PP is probably correct. Not that it was a murder for hire, but that the son was somehow involved. Clearly, the perps were not from the neighborhood and on the 911 call they said that the perps were after the son. It absolutely makes sense. It's rare that people just show up at a random house to go after the family. There's usually some connection. |
I know, right? I just think of what a waste it is for the world to lose good, educated, giving people... the kind who add to the good in the world. For what? Some dumb@ss people just pressed the trigger and wiped away the years and years of effort those two parents (in both cases) spent learning and then giving and producing something for the world. Gone with some stupid teen/adult's impulsive anger. The valuable, contributing, kind people die while the losers live. Seems especially unfair. |

Those who are suggesting the son was somehow into crime... ummm.... we don't know that. For all we know, the son reported the killers to the boss for something they did wrong at work. Maybe they stole something (they have a criminal mindset, we know that!). Maybe they were doing something wrong and they had a beef with the son of the victims for reporting them. We don't know. Let's not assume that the teen who has had both parents murdered before his eyes is a bad seed. Give him a little space to grieve and for the facts to come out.
Whatever he did, (or didn't do), it surely did NOT equate with having both parents murdered on their own property before his eyes. There is nothing he could possibly have done that would warrant that. I'm going to assume he was a good kid who was also victimized by those murderers. |
Time will tell but certainly this kid is devastated right now no matter the back story. How incredibly traumatic. |
Makes me think of all the thugs in Maryland shooting innocent people with their higher than average murda rate |
| SO us virginians have to keep putting up with the crazy ass drivers of maryland and then have those people causing crime in our streets? unbelievable |
I mean...you're also putting up with the kid who murdered two of your high school students down the street. So don't act like its just the Marylanders. https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/virginia/fairfax-county-double-shooting-springfield-virginia-on-sunday/65-5979aba5-463d-4add-bd72-8e88707115d8 |
