So you’d expect everyone to correctly pronounce it “pay” and not “pakes?” Why would anyone do that to a kid?

Apple is terrible. If she loved fruit so much should have named her son Orange or Banana. Luckily she has a normal middle name


I remember when People magazine mentioned the name when she was born. My friend said "Apple? What's her middle name, Orange you glad I didn't say banana?"

My husband’s aunt is named Aracely and I love it. We might have considered it if we had a girl and if were a tad easier to pronounce in English. My white family can’t even handle our son’s barely Spanish middle name.
