Hearing rumors that at least a couple of teams are dropping out if the schedule isn't released tomorrow. Parents want to know at least generally when and where they are spending Memorial Day weekend so they can plug in whatever else they can. This tourney is on the verge of imploding. Think they'd be well advised to post a tentative schedule and make adjustments later.

I think you probably need to reconsider travel soccer if you need to make plans around a tournament this far in advance. That is truly insane. And I don’t think those teams will be missed. The schedule will be the schedule. If there is a conflict, there would be the same conflict today that would exist three days from now.

Yeah, I am sure that the clubs that already paid for it are definitely pulling out and losing their money.

Not to mention we’re talking about McLean or Springfield, with city sprinkled in between.

Exactly. You're spending the weekend in Fairfax. What else do you need to know? I don't like it, but it's not at all unusual for youth soccer tournaments to not know the exact schedule 2 weeks out.

it's not posted because the county is playing with the fields so they need to readjust. be patient...you know the days. what else do you need?

For those of us with multiple kids playing in the tournament, planning logistics if the fields are far apart can be challenging and may involve asking teammates' parents for help or having parents juggle kids, so that's why some of us are anxious to get the information.

DP. I can completely understand that. I’m sure if they could get the schedule out now, they would want to do it too because they still have a lot of planning to do after the schedule is finalized.
