Crazy. Why the panic. It's not like some people are commuting. Many are still telecommuting.
You will be find getting gas if you are not in the panic area. |
I hope my car accepts this substitution. |

There's no duty to wait until almost empty to buy gas. Full stop.
And, this is NOT the same as TP scarcity a year ago. We cannot store gasoline in our basements. There was not a shut down in the supply chain of TP. TP isnt used to transport goods across America. To say it's the same thing is sort of gaslighting, don't you think? It's possible the news is accurately reporting gas supply will be normal in a few days. But, this is not just a "nothing to see here" situation either. |
There's an additive you can add to tank to fix octane. if avail now. |
Not sure but I live in Sterling and its had multi hour lines backing up Cascades Parkway. |
Wow so glad I missed that sh*t show. I managed a 2 car wait at our neighborhood Exxon yesterday afternoon. Regular only. |

Is Gas Buddy accurate? It was showing a ton of stations in MD last night having gas?
Or was it just not updated? Lucky for me, Dh always has several large canisters of gas, just in case. |
| If I am reading the news right, the shortage is not due to the pipeline, but to people panic hoarding? |
Yup |

There are ridiculous reports online (with photos) of people pumping gas into rubbermaid storage tubs, plastic garbage bags, etc. Its ridiculous.
If people are just putting gas into their actual car, I have no problem with that. |
But that's not what is happening some idiots are literally putting gas in trash bags. |
People putting gas into random containers isn't causing the shortage. 99.9999999% of people buying gas are refueling their vehicles. |

| I need an MRI tomorrow. 1/4 tank. |
