New Puppy - she's in Seattle...how to bring her home?

I thought OP was talking about an actual breed of dog. Going across the country for a well bred animal makes sense. The best ones aren't always where you prefer them to be. Some made up pretend breed is not the same thing.

What is the life expectancy on these dogs? Our wee mutt lived to be 15. I couldn't bear to get a dog with the shortest life span.

How can they say 'best of both breeds'? That's like saying that our kids are going to have my husband's height and math brain and temperament, my eye color and curly hair. Instead they might have as well be short, have my art brain and quick temper, and his eye color and baldness.

Wow, I can't imagine paying $3,000 and cross country airfare, plus hotel and other expenses, for a mixed breed dog from a puppy mill.

We just did this too with a flight nanny. 8 week old puppy, cross country with a layover half-way. Great experience for all. Puppy arrived safe and happy.

As a first time puppy parent, I'm at a loss. Should I ship her via plane, send the family to do it, or pay for pet land transport (if that's a thing across country?)
