Sure. We have 2 cotton ones, both have held up well with 2 young kids. The first link is our living room rug which has seen all types of spills in the past 5 years that we've had it. Spot cleans well (too big for our washer). The second link we have as a runner, which machine washes well.

Thank you for the links! Anyone tried cotton rugs from wayfair or Amazon? They have lots of nice patterns but I am worried it’ll be junk. I need around 4x6

I'm another Hook and Loom customer...we have 5 of their rugs and they have held up wonderfully. No issues with watching them. We have 3 dogs and 2 kids, so we wash them a lot.

Yeah - just fill up the landfill. Who cares?

How wasteful.

I washed mine with no issues. A great solution for rooms with kids. No padding but I have hardwood floors everywhere anyway.

I love my ruggables. I have tried other washable rugs (Real life and cotton) but I love the ruggable. It feels so clean after being washed underfoot. Stains come out so easily. If you have a big flood it’s waterproof so you can fold it up and wash it.

I don’t have issues with curling- I tuck the pad into the corners and it bends it down and then untuck. To fit the rug back on I fold the rug into a rectangle and align the corner. I dry the rug flat outside- I know not everyone can do it but I haven’t had any issues with curling.

I’m a die hard fan after going through five different “washable” rugs. This one is easy. I can switch out styles easily. The grips are truly grippy.

All, I have 3 children and six siblings. I am also of pakistani descent and bought several wool and silk blend rugs. These rugs have been THE either primary play space or TV room, have had wine, throw up, crayons etc on them and they are indestructible as long as you immediately wipe up the stain. I’m a cheap millenial and this taught me to always go for quality wool and silk blend rugs! Lots of antique and used rugs online. Good luck!

You can was regular rugs. Just take them outside with a house or power washer and scrub with detergent. Easy. We have done a few our ours.

This is why I only spot wash it. Sorry Op.

Completely crap. I just liked the Jonathan adler design. He should have worked with a carpet company. I’m going to have to glue mine to its backing. Sick of fixing it 10 times a day. I can just use a carpet cleaner if necessary

Agree the trouble with the edges--fraying, not lying flat--makes Ruggables not worth. Wish we had never spent the money.

Bumping to see if anyone has some favorite Hook & Loom patterns? We have a toddler and are looking to add some washable rugs to the playroom and den

Well, you said it, you haven’t washed it yet

Anonymous wrote:I've got three: two 8x10s and one 3x5 in front of the entry way. I've washed each of them at least 5 times (we have 2 dogs including a huge Newfoundland/Lab mix and a diabetic minature poodle mix that gets a UTI every 6 months or so). Don't have any problems or curling but they have faded a bit - which I expected. I've order 3x5 for my siblings entry ways (love the star wars rugs) and they haven't had any issues either.

Different rugs, different experiences, I guess.

I'm the PP. Since this thread was bumped, I thought I'd give an update. I'm still loving the rugs! I can't count the number of times they been washed but I still don't have any problems with them, not even curling. The ones by the entry ways need to be replaced because they're worn/faded but I was expecting that.

so bummed out i think my huggable and pad are hopelessly ruined after a cat peed on it a few times. after reading t these co moments (and pee and stains have been there for awhile) i think they are ruined. i'd like to just throw them out but i feel obliged to try to get smell and stains out. but it also permeated the pad - which is not washable. wish i had never ordered it. bummed out.
