Most people don’t look good in skinny jeans though

I look great in skinny jeans. Tall and slim with legs for days.

Most women over 18 look like encased sausage in skinny jeans.

I haven't given mine up but am not wearing them as much. I like the straight leg look and have some that are still somewhat fitted and flattering and also pretty comfortable.

My question is, what to wear out to a nice dinner or something? My skinnies are my go-to for getting a little dressed up with heels and a cute top. Are we still doing this with straight or wide leg?

I have thin (muscular, but thin) legs. Skinny jeans work for me. And I LOVE having one pair of jeans that work with all of my shoes (and barefoot). Not likely to give them up entirely.

That said...

I am currently seeking a pair of straight leg jeans that are still slim through the hip and thigh, just wide enough at the hem to slip over my boots, yet can still be worn with flats, Birks, Chucks, heels.... And don't come all the way to my ribcage (I'm short in the rise and 9-10" rise is as high as I can go). AND aren't cropped. AND don't have rips in them.

So...all women? I believe "women under 18" are called "girls"

But are they flattering?

Yes, short ladies!

Same to all of this. Let me know if you are able to find these jeans. So far, I haven’t been able to find anything like what you describe.

You can wear skinny jeans. They just shouldn’t be Jeggings. Find the skinniest fit in 100% cotton. NO STRETCH. But a size tighter than feels Comfortable, wear them and they will mold to your body. This is also why cropped is in. To show off that skinny ankle.

+1 I love my skinny jeans

Now that summer is almost here, they will be too tight for comfort. I’ve switched to high waisted, wide legged, linen-blend pants. You can buy them cheaply at Old Navy in petite lengths.

Try Uniqlo. I’m short and their jeans fit me well.

I'm like other posters who is happy to have a variety back in my closet. I felt like 4-5 years ago even my boyfriend jeans were "different" when walking around town even though there were plenty of them in stores, and it was making me batty that women essentially were just given this one uniform shoved down our throats

I did a closet clean out and kept my 2 favorite pairs of skinnies of about 7 pairs total that I kept.

This! I don't understand, mine have never been THAT tight. I can bend and squat down and all that in them no problem. Where are these painted on jeans? Are they the wrong size?
