We have a panoramic that was standard with the trim line we wanted. I open the shade all of the time, but rarely open the glass.
I never open the glass, but always have the shade pulled. My DD was recently trying to figure out what she disliked about being in my son's new car, then realized...no sunroof. It feels like a cave to her. I don't need the fresh air, but it feels so closed in not having the light come in through the top.
I hate having the sun in my eyes so never have the sun roof open. I love the fresh air, but I hate the sun beating down on me.
Yes, I keep my shade pulled back all year round. It makes the interior look so much more open because of all the light.
very curious, but why? Is it a safety thing? |
Every sunroof I've had has had a leak or some bizarre mechanical problem within 3 or so years. Dropped ceiling can reduce head room. I am tall. Hate 'em.
Love it
I'm a sunroof freak. Besides using on sunny days, I open the shade to listen to rain falling on the glass. When we are parked and hanging out in the suv, I love opening it and letting the kids pop through and look around. It's wonderful open when parked under cherry blossom trees. It's magical having it open when we drive to see christmas lights.
Yes, all the time.

When I think about it, I use it to push out the hot air on a hot day after it's been sitting for a while. Other than that, I completely forget I even have it.
I think in DC, when you have the AC going from April to October, it's kind of a waste. |
No, but my husband does.
Helps to clear the smoke.
never have I ever used my sunroof in 15 years (3 different cars) I wish you had a choice to get upgraded model but no sun/moon roof
