How much plastic surgery is a man okay with?

Agree. But society has placed so much value in a woman's appearance. Many women have a hard time accepting their attractiveness diminishes as they age. Here we are with women 40-50+ getting breast implants and fillers ..for what? They're likely already married and have had children but need to try to stay looking 20 and "hot" because that is how we are socialized to value women.

Its becoming the same way for guys especially with the rise of online dating and the normalization of women not needing their paycheck.

I had breast reduction surgery and my husband was opposed because of the health risk but my back hurt and I was tired of them getting in my way playing sports and just dressing well. But I went ahead and did it and it was the best decision I ever made. It took quite a long time to fully recover in terms of being comfortable having sex but I still smile thinking about my husbands comments when I was bouncing on him and he said “your doctor is a genius”.

Perhaps this is for certain zip codes, but not nation wide. Not believing it

No it is very much true, I know a doc from a big city who is killing it with a practice in flyover country. Less competition, lower expectations, more productive revenue base because of less cancellations/drama, lower overhead, and endless supply of willing clients.

Also I have a friend got assigned to 1 year consulting gig in KY she said 80% or the woman in her large neighborhood had implants. Neighbor told her once one woman got them within 3 years everyone else had them.

I got mine and then 4/6 of my group of friends got them. For me, I’ve known I wanted them for 20 yrs. I was thrilled with their size when I was breast feeding. I’ll assume that there are also many other women that have wanted it for a long time. If you don’t know anyone that has done it or anyone with them, it’s intimidating. Once my friends saw the process and could touch the final product they were more comfortable. Yes— I let my close girlfriends touch my implants about 6 months after they were done.

I had a tummy tuck, and within a year, two of my friends had one too. We live in NC, not LA or anything.

So you are ok.with surgery but not injections. Weird

The risk is very very low. You have a higher chance of being hit by a car.

I think that is accurate.

Yes, women who get implants after a mastectomy are total weirdos. I'm glad you're brave enough to call them out, you sound like a prize so they're really missing out on a prince like you.

I don't think that she was implying that. Dont be so sensitive.
Plus that is considered reconstructive.

Lol for real that mastectomy person clearly has a chip on their shoulder.

Why does she sound trashy?

I've had a breast augmentation (after nursing kids for 6 years), I get botox and added some light filters in the past year (i'm 44). I'm divorced and in great shape, no men have complained, I wouldn't care if they did, its my body and I've done what I like with it.

Agree! I'm happy that it worked out for her and that she or her husband have a sense of humor.

I'm pretty normal. Had a tummy tuck with some money a family member left me after a giant baby ripped me to shreds. Not sorry, and it's the only work I've had done. I'm not looking to date you, either.

I wish my DW would have Botox on a regular basis. How do I bring that up?
