Why do I act so childlike at almost 60?!

Well I actually also have a 14 yr old I’ve kept one day a week overnight since she was 9. Her single mom came to me and asked for help for a night off so I gladly accepted. We use to play a lot together but now all she wants to do is video chat with her boyfriend and friends. But we still make cookies, play ping pong, and go mall shopping.. I completely understand as children get older they want less and less to do with us adults. I knew that day would come, especially once they get into boys.

Or girls.

OP I'm an adult and I want to be friends with you. You sound amazing.

OP is humble bragging about how much better she is than "normal" adults. I wouldn't want to be friends with her.

What makes me better? Because I love acting like a child running around the house? Most adults don’t find that fun but I do. It doesn’t make me better it makes me weird imo.

Why can’t you do the same? Because you find it boring, immature, not interested, or just physically incapable?
