4 years of foreign language?

This was my experience also. (I posted above with the kid with 3 years of FL to double up on science.) My kid was accepted at several high-ranking slacs.

DS will technically have 7 years of foreign language by the time he graduates (took Spanish in 6th grade, switched to Japanese in 7th grade).

The numbers seem to be dropping but generally 60 in a class of 3,759 go a year. I imagine there are quite a few brilliant scientists in the group who don’t have four years of foreign language but are RSI Competitors.[/quote]

What curriculum/publisher are schools using for AP foreign language?

He’s likely applying to the E school. I’m not sure they have the same entrance requirements as the college of arts and sciences. I guarantee you that a TJ counselor knows the entrance requirements for UVA.
