The things I learn about in DCUM... I had never heard of Parker. It’s curious that liberals always know about these things. Hmm.

What’s Parker?

A victim of autocorrect. The reason I don't know about Parler is simply because I don't have Facebook so someone can tell me about it.

This is for all sides of politics.

Retreating to our own safe spaces to be surrounded only by people who think and act like each other is cowardly and lame. Free exchange of ideas and opinions are the only way the divide will be narrowed. That's it. If you dox people. Cancel them. Threaten them with intimidation or violence all because of a difference of pov or opinion on a given topic... If you can't not debate on merits, and not emotion, then you are the problem. Full stop.

Parler is a problem. Just like Facebook or twitter. You are being played.

Yet here you are, two conservatives policing an obscure liberal site.

“Policing”? Nope. More like seeing what a left-wing echo chamber is like. Interestingly, it’s everything Parler is being described as, just for liberals. Funny that none of you see the irony.

100%. Parler is to conservative what Twitter/FB is to dems.

If you're a lefty a fake ID is up your alley.

How to make one not tied to a real email or phone? I tried using mailinator but phone validation was hurdle

Are we calling for liking of Republicans? No. That’s what is happening on Parler.

Twitter or FB is not liberal. FB helped elect trump the first time. I follow both parties and see also sorts of opinions; only outright lies are flagged, despite your vapors.

It will go no where b/c "free speech" isn't a bunch of right wing people posting together.

No one outside of the right wing echo chamber will spend time there b/c it's not fun hanging out with a bunch of basement dwellers whose only ideological interest is "owning the libs".

Like a few months ago, a bunch of people will join and then go back to twitter because they'll get bored of their echo chamber and realize they can't actually make money/promote themselves soley on the back of RWNJs.

Also- it turns out to be an “influencer” on parler you have to take a picture of your drivers license and give your ssn.

So essentially, it’s identity theft of white supremacists which .... I’m not surprised.

Are people really stupid enough to give their social security numbers to a social media company? OMG.

I see ironies everyday. Posters like you are the most self-serving ironists on the Internet. You come to this far left website where the far left administrator tolerantly lets you declare how intolerant the left is. You do not see in the irony in this, yet you claim we do not see ironies. Leftist like us "need to keep tabs" which us called policing while rightist like you are seeing what a left wing echo chamber is like," which is supposedly not "keeping tabs" but ironically, looks exactly the same. I see these ironies and I see yours too, but, for some reason, you say it's funny how nobody but you and other conservatives see this. You are like the man who robbed a bank covered in lemon juice which he thought made him invisible. He was shocked when he got caught. You are worse than that though, because you remain standing in the bank, declaring yourself invisible and say that the other patrons are blind, while they stare right at you, laughing at the joke you claim they didn't get.

As PP and pals have repeated ad nauseam, there is nothing worse than the hyperbole on DCUM.

Not surprised. They are probably privacy advocates who have their phone's location on all day and are fine giving their social security numbers out to go on a "free" conservative social media platform.

They will be fleeced completely and totally by this platform.
