I just watched it with my kids 11 and 13 and it had some scary parts. Also there was a similar one with some guys hiking in Sweden and attacked by a Norse god. Pretty scary.

Is he watching it with my daughter? Because, same.

For a 14 year old boy? My girls have watched this since they were 7 or 8.

OP here. We ended up watching The Sixth Sense. I had forgotten how good the ending is. And Bruce Willis looks so young!
In mentioning to my son all the great movie ideas offered, we decided that we are going to start watching each one going right off this thread.
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions!

The ending was predictable in the first 10 min of the movie.

I watch this and within 5 minutes was really turned off and annoyed by a bunch of street punks so I stopped watching.

Then I ended up watching it again and it is now on my cult classic must watch list. Love this flick. Think it is brilliantly done. Not to scary but kind of fun.

One note: a bit of marijuana usage and references. Two characters are burned out stoners.

You'd LOVE Vampire in Brooklyn with Eddie Murphy as well as Fright Night with Jim Carey

Also...stay away from the Little shop of Horrors alternate ending.... i screened it thinking it was the happy ending version ....but had no idea the alternative existed (the plants win) and it awkwardly scared my tweens...as in questioned my sanity.

The Ring. Incredibly scare with no sex, gore, or hardly any, if at all bad language.
