American and western movies absolutely without question, suck wrt to things like female empowerment and strong female characters.

The typical formula for this crap consists of simply replacing famous male roles with a female, and then pawning off that superficial crap like it is progressive towards women. What a joke. Examples of these farcical attempts include the crapstastically bad latest ghostbusters, the garbage american pie movie streaming on netflix, and calls do things like replacing indiana jones or james bond with a female. Quit with the pandering.

Whatever happened to characters like Ripley from Aliens? They're strong female leads who even nearly every guy loves because they weren't written in any way to pander to ID politics crap.

Also, Asian films have loooooooooooooooong done strong female characters way, way, wayyyyyy better than the west. Go youtube Michelle Yeoh action scenes from the 80s where she's kicking the crap or blowing away bad guys all in her own. Cynthia Rothrock has amazing action sequences in films from Asia in the 80s. Cheng Pei Pei, Angela Mao, Moon Lee....theist goes on of ridiculous good strong female characters in Asia cinema spanning as far back as the 60s until now. And roles many of women filled never filled some whiny or preachy role to pander to SJWs.

Her producer texted her about the song “Radio Gaga” but it autocorrected to Lady Gaga and she liked it.
