Moco says no trick or treating

Anonymous
So the maskless police are going to be out 10/31 handing out tickets to little kids dressed up? Yeah, right. MEanwhile I can go get a mixed drink while eating indoors...no wonder no one trusts any level of government.

they advised against it. oh well! see ya on oct 31.

The only ones who won’t participate are the same wrinkled ninnies that hide out in their pitch black houses every year with their cats. As others have pointed out there are a dozen ways for neighborhoods to make trick or treating safe and it’ll go on.

To be fair, a person walking to multiple houses does seem like a good way to spread the dierese to a lot of people or someone in one of those houses giving it to a lot of people.

You sound like fun.

I am, thanks. I have no patience for a broke country, with obese people, going nuts over candy, and dress up. Americans are so dumb, you have no idea what priorities of life should be. Dumbed down by TVs, laptops, and corn syrup.

I am going to dress as Karen and try to regulate the behavior of others. I will report any that do not obey me to the authorities.

Bars can serve booze inside and people can drink till midnight but creative socially distanced trick or treating is a no. I’m casting my ballot for Joe on 11/3 but I’m so disgusted with our county.

Hear, hear. Elrich and Gayles are a disaster.

Now they have added alternative activities for us to enjoy:

Here’s what’s on the list from the county:
•Online parties/contests (e.g. costume or pumpkin carving);
•Decorating homes, yards and neighborhoods with Halloween-themed decorations;
•Car parades such as: •Drive-by events or contests where individuals dress up or decorate their vehicles and drive by “judges” that are appropriately physically distanced.
•Drive-in or drive-through events where individuals remain in their vehicles and drive through an area with Halloween displays. Participants can receive a treat bag (limited to commercially packaged nonperishable treats) or other takeaway item from an organizer while the participants remain in their vehicle

•Halloween movie nights at drive-in theaters (must comply with the public health drive-in movie theater guidance);
•Halloween-themed meals at outdoor restaurants (must comply with the restaurant protocol); and
•Halloween-themed art installations at an outdoor museum (must comply with the public health museum guidance).

What is the difference between getting candy from your car vs from the front door??

NP here. I’ll take the priorities of enjoying a fun once-a-year holiday with my family and neighbors and friends, over bitterly stewing about how dumb and fat everyone is.

Happy Halloween!

Trick or treating isn’t part of the economy, that’s why 😉.

My neighborhood is doing the individual teats on a table idea. I think it is dumb because the risk seems the same as picking up candy from a bowl (surface transmission is NOT how this spreads), but I will play along.

And close the bars if you want me to respect your Irish assessment, Dr. Gayles.

Haha. Risk assessment.
