He looks great.

I’m crushing on him a bit! What a hilarious character. Really well done.

DH is binge watching it and has started shouting Cobra Kai! At random intervals. Should I be concerned?

He was too far in when I got home last night. He finished both seasons and is still shouting it.

This whole show is an advertisement for Coors Banquet. Start drinking every time Johnny has a Coors, you won’t feel your face after a few episodes.

we watched 6 or 7 episodes last night, so most of season 1. we will be back.

My husband was like "how old are they supposed to be?" and I said "pretty much their current ages"

Ralph still looks good, hairpiece or not. He has always looked much younger than he is.

The show only works because both look good for their ages. A lesson for all the aging men out there to stay in shape.

My DH and I binged it this weekend. SO, so good. Loved it.

Zabka looks really good. Love the story (for the most part). Love Macchio, as always. Great nostalgia and a bit of an update for the youngsters. The Cobra Kai reunion was heartbreaking, esp in light of real events.

And Johnny's one-liners are THE BEST. And when he gets his computer hooked to the internet . . . . LOL. "Hasbrown Cobra Kai." LOL. I think the story of him v. Larusso from his perspective changes how you view Larusso in Karate Kid. And Larusso comes off as a DB in this show. #TeamJohnny

And, yes, every time that Cobra flashed at the end, I say in my best sinister voice: "Cobra Kaaaaaaaaaaiiiiii."

So, OK - I ask this with love, because I cannot get enough of the show:

It's sort of unrealistic how FAST all these kids became karate stars, right? Like one episode they don't know any karate, two episodes later they are the best karate doers who ever lived?

Also, it seems unrealistic to me that either Johnny or Larusso would still be as good at karate now as they were when they were teenagers. Doesn't seem like either has been practicing. As someone in my late 40s, I don't think you can just snap your fingers and remember everything you learned as an athlete as a kid.

BUT I LOVE THE SHOW.

Yes. And not to be too much of a geek, but it does look like the actor who plays Hawk is trained in karate.
