Well, I can't speak about teenagers, but everyone knows that there are different rules for the French.

Clowns only count for 1/4 because you can fit so many in a car.

You laugh about the blow up doll, but I saw a news story about someone who got pulled over for HOV-2 violation and had a doll in the front seat. The driver asked if he was getting a ticket because the doll didn't have on a seatbelt.

As for aliens, what if my husband is in the car with, sometimes I definitely think he's from another planet.

I also saw a news story about having a mannequin in the passenger seat so it looks like you're not alone when driving late at night. That way, potential carjackers will pick someone else to victimize. I guess the mannequin could double for the HOV lane during the day as well?

wow, talk about beating a dead horse here. (please, no further comments about whether a dead horse counts...)

"HOV violators are nothing new, but people are astounded by the sheer audacity of it all. Just last week in New Jersey, a woman was ticketed for driving with a mannequin in the front seat. Many drivers say they've seen even worse.

Leesburg commuter David Clark says he's "seen teddy bears, balloons with hats.""
