Oops, sorry - didn’t mean to curse! |
She got the “Kylie” special! ![]() |
Not white privilege. Just plain old power. She thought she’s powerful enough to crush another person. I really wonder if her relationship with MM has over-inflated her ego? I wonder if MM counseled her to go this route? Regardless, lesson learned. FTR, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye, Tyler Perry, etc. have actually succeeded at crushing others—black and white alike. Truly powerful people actually can destroy careers. Just ask all the actresses who were blacklisted by Harvey Weinstein. |
Didn’t take long for Meghan to throw her under the bus. Less than 24 hours. |
How do? I haven’t seen anything directly attributable to MM |
agree |
Yea, no. It’s white privilege because the whole thing started because Jessica wanted to silence a black woman calling out people for not supporting BLM. The whole thing was motivated by race. No need to minimize her behavior or to devalue a black woman’s experience of a racist interaction. |
This is a pretty interesting indepth article on Jessica's background. I think Americans really don't know much about her. The reality is she was pretty powerful and a mover and shaker in Canadian circles.
https://torontolife.com/city/society/ben-jess-show/ This is a very indepth read. |
My goodness, the writer positively *worships* Jessica. |
The very last sentence is telling though. He calls out the 'fake Instagram photo'. She tried to say it was a romantic stay at home Valentines---and it turned out to be photo from a much earlier time. The photo was then taken down. It is the narcissistic cultivation of the fake image. |
Every single image looked fake, staged, and unattainable for the regular Joe. The article itself put such an idealistic sheen on her life, in an over-the-top way that I imagine was sanctioned by Jessica - it’s her brand, and she’s unapologetic about it. I imagine her friendship with Meghan Markle was a mutually-beneficial power pairing more than anything else. It’s all curated and I don’t find it interesting. She recently posted pics of herself in a bikini, showing off her a$$ - she’s done it more than once. She said she’s proud of her body, and she should be, but really, WTF is the point of posting it on social media? Why does that need to be consumed by the masses? It’s not uncommon these days, but I immediately lose interest in anyone who posts selfie after selfie. Such narcissism. |
I wonder what her hubby’s reputation is like. As shallow as her? He seems like a genuinely nice guy, but have no idea how people perceive of him or if his dad was liked as PM. |
She was hideous before all of the plastic surgery and she's not any better looking after it. She looks like a high-class escort, at best. Her style is so tacky. Now that it is apparent she is also a garbage human in general, it's a good thing she comes from money since it's also obvious she bought her career. I wonder what her husband ever saw in her. |
It says a lot about Meghan that this was one of her very closest friends. Kids in her wedding and everything. They were attached at the hip. |
So, you can’t handle the truth? |
