Not white privilege. Just plain old power. She thought she’s powerful enough to crush another person. I really wonder if her relationship with MM has over-inflated her ego? I wonder if MM counseled her to go this route? Regardless, lesson learned.

FTR, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye, Tyler Perry, etc. have actually succeeded at crushing others—black and white alike. Truly powerful people actually can destroy careers. Just ask all the actresses who were blacklisted by Harvey Weinstein.

Yea, no. It’s white privilege because the whole thing started because Jessica wanted to silence a black woman calling out people for not supporting BLM. The whole thing was motivated by race. No need to minimize her behavior or to devalue a black woman’s experience of a racist interaction.

Every single image looked fake, staged, and unattainable for the regular Joe. The article itself put such an idealistic sheen on her life, in an over-the-top way that I imagine was sanctioned by Jessica - it’s her brand, and she’s unapologetic about it. I imagine her friendship with Meghan Markle was a mutually-beneficial power pairing more than anything else. It’s all curated and I don’t find it interesting.

She recently posted pics of herself in a bikini, showing off her a$$ - she’s done it more than once. She said she’s proud of her body, and she should be, but really, WTF is the point of posting it on social media? Why does that need to be consumed by the masses? It’s not uncommon these days, but I immediately lose interest in anyone who posts selfie after selfie. Such narcissism.
