Amazing attitude! We have family in west LA (Century City), if you find yourself with free time over Thanksgiving/Christmas when all this is over and want a side gig, let me know. ![]() -- NP. Our nanny has been good generally but she clearly wasn't taking things seriously with the pandemic (early 30s). I didn't think any amount of lecturing on our end was going to be useful, so I have paid her to stay home for March, April, May and June, at which point we are letting her go (she got 6 weeks' notice). We have also paid for health insurance throughout this time (as we normally did). Lesson learned here? If you're not 100% happy with your nanny, look for another and part ways amicably before a pandemic hits... We have three high risk individuals out of four in the household (two adults and an infant) and we will have to continue social distancing for the foreseeable future (until there is a vaccine or treatments get much better). |
