This is a better list in my opinion...it looks at total giving as well as percentage of alumni giving.

I saw that! I'm guessing the parents of in-state students love it for the price tag, but the students not so much.

Why is every question in this area reduced to money/status/rank? They asked about "raves" which is obviously subjective and anectotal...and could have been fun, if the knives did not come out, as usual, about who is right.

I know DCUM loves the Ivy League and obscure LACs, but the rest of the country loves their state schools:
