Yeah they were really young when they got married and had kids. He’s 2 years younger than her too so they were married in 1999, had the twins in 2000, and the sextuplets in 2004. Neither of them were even 30 when the sextuplets were born. That’s enough to send most DCUMers into a coma! |

Ok, I never watched any of her shows or followed any of her drama, but I did remember her somewhat infamous (and bad) haircut from back in the day and was surprised and curious after seeing OP's photo.
I disagree that she's had a ton of work done. Almost definitely some botox and obviously she bleaches her hair and I think probably uses extensions liberally (and I don't think they always look great). But actually, she's always had a pretty face and it doesn't look like she's had a bunch of fillers or even much in the way of nip/tuck procedures: https://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/kate-gosselin-then-and-now-jon-and-kate-plus-8-to-kate-plus-date/ I think she's actually a naturally pretty woman and that probably played a big role in them getting a television show to start with because Jon is not attractive or even particularly photogenic. It seems like she had some bad haircuts early on and then obviously the constant drama with their marriage and child custody gives the impression of her being a messy person. Well she might have a messy life but I think she's always been attractive and is still attractive, and good for her finally figuring out how to style her hair (I have been there with the short "easy" haircuts when you have babies and toddlers in the house only to conclude that these hairstyles don't flatter, especially when you are also carrying extra weight from pregnancy). |
