Well, he’s an IT director for a non-profit. And what does Kate do all day? The kids have stated on the show that she doesn’t cook or grocery shop.

I did not realize this. Yes, to his credit, it would appear he's an independent contractor who took on a job with a healthcare provider in Berks County during the pandemic, to train providers on how to do telemedicine. I hope he's turned a corner and actually become a productive member of society.

I think it's very telling that he has eight kids and six of them are estranged from him - both twins and four of the sextuplets. Clearly, Kate is not keeping them from him because two live with him part time - I think she's letting them choose whether or not to see him, and not pressuring them or withholding them, which is nice. And the twins are old enough now that they don't live with Kate and could go see him if they wanted. He honestly sounds like he's been a shitty dad/husband and they're over it. People don't cut parents out for no reason.

I think he got wrapped up in the media frenzy, picked poorly for a wife, had an extraordinary family situation, and then kind of a breakdown. But all signs point to yes at having matured and become the arguably more stable parent.

If you look at pictures of Kate before she had her youngest children, she was very plain-looking.

Mousy brown hair, average style.

Then once her show w/John became a hit - she started to look celebrity pretty.

Went blonde, had nicer makeup & best of all had a tummy tuck which fixed her body from carrying her children.

She is pretty, but manufactured pretty.
I bet if she never became a celebrity, she would have never looked this good..

I don’t think so. Her entire personal diary is online and she talks about beating her babies and leaving them in cribs for four hours every afternoon because she couldn’t deal with them.
