| Just wear a normal bikini. Tankinis are so depressing. |
| I had this problem and sewed some mini fish weights to the inside bottom hem to help it stay down |
| Small weights such as magnets glued to bottom of tanking might work. |
| Sorry folks, but you're missing the point. I already have a top. It's blousy, which is what I want. But it floats up and gets in the way. Buying a new one is out of the question. I want to FIX this one. |
Are you the OP, do you still have this problem four years later? |
| Look for 1piece faux tankinis. I love the stomach coverage and when it foats up I am fully coveted |
Went this route, added two simple elastic loops on my bathing suit bottom that attach to a button inside my tankini top on the hips, discreet method to keep my tankini from floating up. |
| Fabric weights. |
| Float up??? You're buying the wrong style or too big. |
Bedazzle the bottom hem. |
| You need one that's tight on the stomach, but maybe you prefer a floaty one? |
|
When I'm in the water, I tuck the top into my bottoms. I untuck before I get out. I also wear super high waisted bottoms for more coverage.
People saying "wear a one piece" don't get it. Tankinis are better for so many reasons (bathroom, sizing) for a lot of people. If a one piece works for you, great! Move along, this post isn't for you. |
| Just wear a high waisted bottom and let the top float up. |
| I was thinking those magnetic magnets that are buttons...but they're probably not waterproof. You almost need a button and a loop |
