Just stop. Nobody needs sleep away camp. What we need is for a vaccine to be found and for people to get back to work and school, not sleep away camp or vacations as nice as those luxuries are.

Not PP but no, stop the shaming of other families that make different choices than you do. Sleepaway is the highlight of my child's year and it's a wonderful learning experience.

I'm not sure it will happen either, but camps would have the same liability as day care centers and other childcare arrangements. Either they are operational or they aren't, but all childcare facilities will be in the same boat and I'm sure they will all require waivers.

It isn't about offloading your kids - stop the shaming- it's such a phenomenal experience for them - my DD it's the HIGHLIGHT of her year- she lives 10 months of the year looking forward to those 2 months.
