Refunds? Middle school girls clubs

Then you are on a good place. Stick with them and tell others the club has a quality adminstration - its not the norm. My kids (both sexes) have played several sports over the years from rec to elite and while the coaches are usually great and communicate clearly and often, the adminstrators of the leagues and clubs rarely do.

Parent of 2026 girl at top Baltimore club. We received $500 credit towards summer season. (And yes, there will be one. Currently looking at some out of area tourneys).

NL girls have gotten nothing in terms of a refund and also have not had any virtual skills training.

If they want to send a detailed email about how they are continuing to pay all coaches, etc, then fine. BUT just keeping the money is not ok.

We are not all wealthy. Some of us do club sports for our kids despite not being super wealthy. The burden should not be entirely borne by the player families.

I'm sure this has been said a million times, but many of the tournaments are not offering refunds. Uniforms cannot be returned, and I know for boys at least hoco has not refunded the clubs.

My DH is the commissioner for a boys house league and because parents were such assholes he had to pull out of savings to offer a partial refund. ALL of the registration fees were sunk costs. This means ZERO scholarships will able to be offered next year. I'm sure the clubs are no different and I know for a FACT that the clubs offer scholarships

What team is it? Stop being vague.

I’m guessing it’s Pride. I’m not getting a reply from her either.

Since she's the coach at nearby private school, why don't you and other parents email the AD asking if she's ok?Ask them if there anything they could do to get this message to her? Am sure after 5 or so emails, that'll create a compelling event to respond back to parents.

She is fine. This is fake news. Pride is the top program in the DMV.

"Dear AD for school A, I'm the parent of "x' club player lead by club director y - she also happens to be your girl's lacrosse team. Would you be so kind as to forward this request to contact us to as we have not heard back from her over x weeks and y communications regarding the team's practices/games/finances, nor have any fellow parents that we are aware of. We hope she's ok and with your help, look forward to hearing from her soon."

That’s one option. But why can’t Katie just reply? Why does she think it’s okay not to? I don’t understand it. It’s not good business.

Too many Pride locations to keep track of between Nova, Baltimore and Loudoun?

Why do you feel the need to keep track of Pride?
