The clubs have to get their money back first. Corrigan Sports is saying they will produce the events without the IWLCA sponsorship.

That is a major rip off the only reason to attend these events is the IWCLA support. This will lead to the end of these events in the future.

IWLCA posted a quick video on their site last night that clarified that these are IWLCA events and IWLCA has decided to cancel so refunds will be going to clubs.

This is a middle school thread, and aren't you talking about HS tournaments? In any event, I will be SO happy if these tournaments do not go on. They are such a waste of time and money! Why on earth would anybody around here feel the need to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to go to FL to play lacrosse when the best lacrosse in the country is in our backyard? It's absolutely ridiculous!

Because that's where the coaches conference is. All the coaches are there..... And there are very good teams in FL, CA, IL, etc. It's great to get outside of the DMV and go to other site locations other than Cedar Lane and Calvert.

They are, boys lax clubs too as well as may soccer clubs and basketball and baseball, basically every sport. Its just the nature of the beast.

We get clear communication from our son’s club every time. All emails or calls are responded to. I have not asked for a refund as they are still trying to learn what options they may have. I want the club to survive this.
